ANNEMARIE P. CURRY JOINS JOBPLEX AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
LOS ANGELES, CA, March 2006 - JobPlex is pleased to announce that Annemarie P. Curry has recently joined the firm as Executive Vice President, based in their Los Angeles office. JobPlex is an affiliate of DHR International, the fifth largest executive search firm in the United States. Annemarie will be conducting the firm’s middle management recruitment and solutions business.
Prior to joining JobPlex, Ms. Curry spent eight years in professional-level executive search, serving clients in entertainment, media, technology, manufacturing, and financial services. She began as an executive recruiter for BridgeGate Group, one of the largest privately-held search firms in Orange County. Soon thereafter, she built and managed Apex Direct Search, a cross-functional boutique firm specializing in Los Angeles startups and technology companies. Her professionalism and long-term focus garnered her a solid reputation in the community. Ms. Curry was recognized as an expert in the local Internet economy and was featured in the Los Angeles Times, CNBC and MSNBC’s Evening News with Brian Williams. She also has extensive experience representing Fortune 500 and other major corporations.
A true entrepreneur, Ms. Curry worked closely with her startup clients, consulting in areas of strategic development, organizational design, succession planning, branding, marketing, and promotion. She was a partner in launching several entertainment and technology companies, with duties ranging from business development and marketing to finance and operations. Her most notable success, in addition to her recruiting firm Apex Direct Search, is Migo Software, an award-winning provider of mobile computing solutions.
In addition to her corporate experience, Ms. Curry has produced independent feature films, live action short films, and events for up to 1,500 attendees.
Ms. Curry’s recruiting knowledge over multiple industries, coupled with her experience in launching and managing several companies, gives her an insight into both her client’s needs and the best resources to build successful teams.
