SAN FRANCISCO, June 2006 - JobPlex, Inc. is pleased to announce that Stephen Scheier has joined the firm as Senior Vice President in the San Francisco office.  He previously served in the same position at DHR International, the nation’s fifth largest executive search firm, and JobPlex’s affiliate.
 
Most recently, Mr. Scheier was Vice President of Human Resources at Audiofeast, a digital audio company serving the MP3 market. Throughout his career, Mr. Scheier has been involved with venture-backed companies and has led the leadership talent recruitment efforts for technology companies throughout California.  This has included the recruitment of an entire Board of Directors as well as a specialty in acquisition integration consulting.  Mr. Scheier was also the Director of Marketing for Apple Computer for 9 years.
 
Mr. Scheier holds a Masters of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Berkeley, graduating with High Honors.  He also completed all course work towards a Master of Arts in Organizational Development at the University of San Francisco.
