LOS ANGELES, CA, August 2006 – JobPlex is pleased to announce that Martin Byrne has recently joined the firm as Executive Vice President, based in the Los Angeles area.  JobPlex is an affiliate of DHR International, the fifth largest executive search firm in the United States.  Martin will be conducting the firm’s middle management recruitment and solutions business.
 
Prior to JobPlex, Martin owned and operated his own boutique search firm in Pasadena, Byrne & Associates. Previous to Byrne and Associates, Martin was the Vice President of Recruitment for Indymac Bank, a leading residential mortgage bank.  Martin had a very successful tenure while at Indymac, building the recruiting teams and infrastructure of the recruiting department and also overseeing the expansion of the company’s national operations centers throughout the United States. In addition, Martin also served as a search consultant with Apex Direct search.
 
Martin entered into the Executive Search business with DeForest and Associates, a boutique firm specializing in Marketing, Product Management and Advertising.  Martin was successful in placing high-level candidates with Fortune 100 companies.
 
Prior to the search business, Martin’s experience as a qualified chef in Europe, led him to have a very successful career in the food industry both in Europe and the United States. 
 
Martin was born in Dublin, Ireland and educated at Rockwell College in County Tipperary, Ireland.
