MICHAEL J. STERLING JOINS JOBPLEX AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND MANAGING DIRECTOR

, AZ, August 2006 – Michael J. Sterling is the Executive Vice President and Managing Director of JobPlex, Inc., in Phoenix, AZ. Michael has extensive recruiting experience in Healthcare, Accounting and Finance, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, Sales, and Construction. In addition to his recruiting industry experience, Michael brings a 13-year sales, sales training, and sales management career.
Michael began his sales career with General Electric as an Area Sales Manager, progressed to American Express' financial services division as Sales Consultant then was invited to become a National Sales Trainer. His success there launched him into a sales management opportunity where he and his team won national Region of the Year recognition.
In 1998, he was recruited into staffing with a Fortune 500 company. Michael thrived in the industry building and leading recruiting and sales teams for the next 8 years in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah as Branch Manager, Area Manager, Regional Director and Regional Vice President. Again, Michael led his team to international Region of the Year recognition and numerous members of his teams to individual international top producer awards.
Michael has successfully completed individual searches and customized multiple-hire projects for companies such as: Charles Schwab & Co., Wells Fargo, McKesson, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Catholic Charities, MGM Mirage, Jelly Belly Candy Co., Restoration Hardware, Kendall-Jackson Vineyards, Lucasfilm, MindSpring, AON, Phelps Dodge Mining Company, Autodesk, Rain Bird, Zions Bancorporation, Arterial Vascular Engineering (now Medtronic), Tucson Electric Power, University Physician's Healthcare, El Rio Healthcare, Radiology Limited, KB Homes, Long Realty and Providence Corporation.
Michael is a graduate of Texas Christian University's School of Business, with a Bachelor's of Business Management.
He volunteers with Intermountain Centers for Human Development, which teaches young disadvantaged adults personal financial management and career development skills.
