SAN FRANCISCO , CA, February 2007 - JobPlex is pleased to announce the addition of Ty R. Miller, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, to the San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices. Ty’s background consists of sales and business development roles with start-up and early stage companies in the technology and telecommunications industries.

Prior to joining JobPlex, Ty served as a Principal and Senior Vice President of Business Development for Telecom Asset Management, LLC, a professional services firm specializing in the acquisition, disposition, and valuation of complex telecom infrastructure assets. Under his leadership, the company grew by more than 250% in 3 years through successful asset sale transactions and consulting projects.

Previously, he served as the Director of Sales Western US for Switch and Data, the largest privately-held operator of datacenter services in the country. As one of the first employees and member of the executive team, he launched the Western US sales team and grew annualized revenue to more than $30 Million in just over 3 years.

Earlier in his career, Ty held national sales positions with Nextlink and MFS Communications, where he developed broadband network architecture and access solutions for telecom carriers and fortune 500 clients such as Nike, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Infonet, Ticketmaster and Nestle.

Prior to his role with MFS, Ty was a cofounder of TCS, a leading telecom services company and softswitch developer. While at TCS, he was responsible for developing key relationships in Japan and Central America.

Ty holds a B.A. in psychology and a minor in business administration from UCLA. While at UCLA, he was a member of the 1990 NCAA Championship Men’s Soccer team.
