SEATTLE , WA, February 2008 – JobPlex is pleased to announce the addition of Joe Strain, Executive Vice President, to the Seattle office. Joe joins JobPlex with a wealth of experience in corporate recruitment of c-level professionals globally.
 
Prior to JobPlex, Joe was a senior member of the Amazon.com Executive Search team specializing in global recruiting for executive talent. In this role, Joe exclusively focused on attracting C-level industry leaders, Technology Vice President’s, Administrative Vice President’s, and world-class Retail & E-commerce experts. 
 
Previously, Joe was Vice President of Corporate Recruiting for NCMX Corporation, an international software development and integration firm based in London, England.  He was responsible for developing the recruiting function and team from the ground up.
 
Earlier, Joe was a Founder and Managing Partner of LightningRod, a Seattle based search firm.  All clients were virtually venture/angle funded startups.  NCMX Corp had been a long-term client of LightningRod, LLC,and was delighted to enlist Joe to start-up the global recruitment function. 
 
Before running LightningRod, LLC, Joe managed all technical recruiting for PricewaterhouseCoopers' Pacific Northwest technology consulting practice; was a former member of Microsoft's Strategic Recruiting Group, and Microsoft's prestigious Global Recruiting and Intelligence Team.
 
Joe has an undergraduate degree in English and holds a “CPC” designation – Certified Personnel Consultant.
