SCOTT W. BATES JOINS JOBPLEX AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
St. Louis, MO, October 2009 – JobPlex, a DHR International Company, is pleased to announce the addition of Scott W. Bates, Executive Vice President, to the St. Louis office.
With more than 15 years of experience in executive search, Mr. Bates is a seasoned consultant with superior understanding of matching accomplished executives and managers to an organization’s culture and needs. Mr. Bates’ experience includes the successful completion of many complex executive search assignments in healthcare, education and other sectors. He has lead recruitment efforts which have involved multiple roles, search committees and the recruitment of CEOs, chief development officers and many key director level positions.
Prior to his work in recruiting, Mr. Bates lead a successful career as a professional fundraiser working as a consultant and on the staffs of several organizations. Mr. Bates served as the executive director of a major healthcare foundation, in addition to his work in education and international development. Mr. Bates brings a lifetime commitment to the sector and a broad range of knowledge of its special role in society.
Mr. Bates has published articles and spoken widely on topics such as succession planning, determining cultural fit, recruitment strategies, executive career development and the unique challenges of recruiting philanthropy professionals. He has served on a number of boards, including Paraquad, AIDSCare, the Suburban Summer Symphony and Hopewell Center.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
