DENVER, CO, October 2009 – Jobplex, a DHR International Company, is pleased to announce the addition of Jay E. Velinder, Executive Vice President, to the Denver office.

Mr. Velinder joins Jobplex with over twenty-five years of experience in the staffing industry. He has worked with local, regional, and national staffing organizations and has lived in Denver, Seattle and Houston while traveling throughout the United States. He has led national accounts development, sales and operations teams, and held senior and executive management positions. Most recently he served as President of Lakeshore, where he was responsible for opening start-up operations in Denver, Phoenix, and Dallas. His primary interests were in client development, creating vision, leadership, and being the chief differentiation officer.
Prior to his experience in the staffing industry, Mr. Velinder worked in Food Services, Oil & Gas Training/Development, and Energy Management industries serving in business development, sales training, and management roles. He has also served in non-profit leadership roles as a Board of Directors member for both the Denver Better Business Bureau and Denver Scores, an after school literacy program for at risk inner city children. He was involved with the Houston Post’s “Keep Houston Working” campaign and has worked in conjunction with numerous non-profit employment workshops over the years. He has also been instrumental in having all of his previous offices be involved in working with senior citizens and people with disabilities.
Mr. Velinder earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
