PHILADELPHIA (September 9, 2021) – Jobplex Inc. is pleased to announce Chanel Smith has joined the firm as Partner to lead the Healthcare Practice, based out of Philadelphia, PA.
In her role, Smith will work closely with her DHR International Healthcare Partner counterparts to complement their executive search services with a full suite of professional search services in healthcare as well as clinical recruitment. She will focus on building out a robust Professional Search Healthcare Practice, with a focus in academic health, and niche roles within schools of medicine and schools of nursing as well as other allied health schools.
“Chanel’s background in academic medicine will prove to be a big differentiator for Jobplex’s Healthcare Practice,” said Justin Hirsch, Jobplex President. “She is a natural leader who, I am confident, will develop and implement innovative methods to drive growth within the Healthcare Practice.”
With prior experience as a consultant in Healthcare Services and Academic Health at Korn Ferry International, Smith will be responsible for leading new business generation, search execution, client management, and candidate assessment for professional search leaders within healthcare, academic health, and clinical recruitment. She believes no two searches are the same, providing tailored services to meet the needs of each client and enjoys the research that is involved with each client and role.
In addition to her search work, Smith enjoys training and mentoring other consultants on best practices and staying up to date on advances in recruitment technology. The operational aspect of search is very appealing to her, and she is always looking for ways to expedite and improve the processes.
