CLEVELAND (April 8, 2021) – Jobplex Inc. is pleased to announce Erin Merker has joined the firm as Managing Partner, based out of Cleveland, Ohio.
With over 13 years of strategic talent acquisition and consulting experience, Merker has worked with leading companies across a variety of industries.Jobplex has a deliberate focus on advancing internal diversity, including female leadership, and Merker is the third female partner to join Jobplex over the last four months. In support of diversity hiring for her clients, Merker has significant diversity and inclusion hiring expertise, having filled 76% of her client engagements with diverse and female hires.

Merker has provided comprehensive search support for a wide variety of organizations, including Fortune 10 to small/mid-cap companies ($10M – $303.7B). She has filled C-Suite level positions for a variety of industry-leading organizations as well as VP, Senior Director, Director, and Manager level positions. Merker delivers a tailored approach to each client based on their values and consults with internal stakeholders regarding best practices, process alignment, market data, and compensation strategies.

Prior to joining Jobplex, Erin spent more than ten years in various leadership roles at a national talent advisory firm, most recently serving as President and Chief Operating Officer. She began her career in recruiting at Adecco Employment Services. Merker is a graduate of Cleveland State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Labor Relations: Human Resources. She also has her Human Resource Management Certification from Cornell University and is a licensed DiSC trainer/consultant.
