DALLAS – Jobplex, Inc. is pleased to announce that Zak Volz has joined the firm as Partner with a focus on the Human Resources Practice.
Volz has served as a senior HR professional for more than 15 years with experience as an HR leader, business partner, talent manager, executive recruiter and trusted advisor to senior business leaders. He brings experience from diverse industries including technology, financial services, retail and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Jobplex, Volz served as Co-Founder & General Manager at Grandview Enterprises, LLC., founded in 2017. He also served as Senior Director, Human Resources Consulting at Capital One where he led a cross-functional team of HR professionals responsible for developing the talent management strategy and HR programs delivery for over 2000 employees. Additionally, Volz was accountable for building the emerging leader talent pipeline and leadership bench resulting in numerous strategic, technical and high potential leadership hires. Prior to Capital One, Volz held HR leadership roles for industry leading technology companies such as Amazon Web Services and Rackspace.

Volz received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas Tech University. He also received a Certificate in General Management from the University of Texas, Red McCombs School of Business, Executive Education Program.
