WASHINGTON, DC (March 2, 2021) – Jobplex Inc. is pleased to announce Soladé Rowe has joined the firm as Managing Partner to lead the Diversity & Inclusion Practice Group, based out of Washington, DC. He is also a strategic advisor supporting firm-wide diversity initiatives for Jobplex’s parent company, DHR International. His wealth of experience recruiting diverse leaders across a broad range of industries and functional areas will complement DHR’s Diversity practices globally.
With over 20 years of recruiting and talent management experience, Rowe will be responsible for leading business development, search execution, client management, and candidate assessment for high potential, next generation leaders across all industries. In his role as head of the Diversity & Inclusion Practice Group, Rowe will develop and implement innovative solutions as well as train on techniques to ensure Jobplex clients achieve a diverse feeder group of future leaders in every engagement.
“I see that there’s a tremendous opportunity to infuse sustainable workforce inclusion powered by Jobplex’s boutique solutions to clients, especially to those who perceive acquiring diverse executive talent as the only answer,” said Rowe. “With the backing of DHR’s Executive Search and Leadership Consulting services, we can better strengthen business outcomes by advising clients on harnessing the diverse talents of those we court and recruit on their behalf.”
Prior to leading diversity executive search, Rowe held several management roles in human resources. In his last corporate role, Rowe held talent acquisition and talent management responsibilities where he played key role during the company’s merger-integration, as well as supporting the expansion of its ecommerce business.
Rowe started his career creating access for financially disadvantaged black and Hispanic college bound students throughout New York City, which created the foundation for his people-centered interests with diversity equity & inclusion, and talent development. At his previous firm, Rowe established the non-profit practices and led countless leadership engagements including those supporting the mission of the LGBTQ community.
“I am very pleased that Soladé will be joining the firm,” said Jobplex President Justin Hirsch. “His insight and personal experience with diversity equity & inclusion across multiple industries and functions will add tremendous value within Jobplex, DHR, and to our clients.”
He has served as Trustee of Utica College’s board for 16 years and is currently Chair of the Compensation Committee and had previously chaired the Student Life & Educational Experiences committees. Rowe was the College’s first young alumni trustee and delivered the 2011 convocation address. During the 2015/2016 academic year, Rowe played a leadership role during Utica College’s Presidential search. He is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., a historically African-American community service organization.
A first generation American from Sierra Leone, West Africa, Rowe grew up in New York City. He holds a Bachelor of Science, International Management from Utica College and received a Master of Science in Organizational Change Management from The New School.
